Corporate Electronic Recycling Services:

R2-certified electronics recycling

Certified by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International, our operations meet the R2 standard for the responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of electronic products. Rigorously and independently audited, this standard emphasizes quality, safety, and transparency. It provides a common set of processes, safety measures, and documentation requirements for more than 800 facilities that repair and recycle used electronics across the globe.

Global Electronic Recycling transports your unwanted and obsolete electronic assets to our facility, where they are demanufactured and broken down into their valuable components to use in the manufacturing of new products. Those electronic assets that are no longer suitable for refurbishing and cannot be salvaged for components are responsibly recycled. No matter what type of device you’re recycling:

  • Your data is protected. We sanitize your data in compliance with NIST 800-88 standards, HIPAA, and the Department of Defense.

  • Your company’s good name is protected. Your brand won’t make headlines for irresponsible dumping of outdated electronics.

  • The environment is protected. Your outdated electronics won’t end up in a landfill or leach into the groundwater.

In addition to responsibly recycling your electronic assets, we create a detailed inventory with the serial number, make, model, asset tag, and other relevant information that allows you to reconcile the recycled assets against your records.

data destruction services: witnessed destruction for sensitive data.

Is your data being stored, handled, and destroyed in a secure facility? Trained by the military, Global Electronic Recycling’s team of top-secret and classified asset destruction experts securely destroy sensitive assets and data. There are three phases to our witnessed destruction process:

  1. Transportation and delivery. Our team securely loads your electronic assets into a truck that is sealed and monitored from the time it leaves your facility to the moment it arrives at our loading dock.

  2. Witnessed delivery verification. The seal remains intact until your witness arrives, at which time our data destruction experts break the seal and bring your electronic assets into our facility, where they count the pieces and verify the weight.

  3. Witnessed destruction. Cameras monitor the entire process, and each asset is destroyed to the required specifications, either by shearing, shredding, or pulverizing. Your witness observes and verifies that we successfully destroy each electronic asset.

Our data destruction methods comply with the NIST 800-88 standard to ensure complete data destruction. You receive a full data verification report for added peace of mind. We authenticate data destruction through the issuance of data destruction reports and certificates, including an end-of-use certificate DLA Form 1822 and a certificate of destruction that captures and lists serial numbers of wiped drives.

Cameras monitor each of our facilities, all of which have advanced security controls to meet our clients’ data security requirements. We designed each of our services to protect our clients’ intellectual property, assets, and data.
